Just saw the New School production of Angela Ness’s Five go hungry on Kirrin Island at the Birnam Institute, and what a show this is! Lashings of rock’n'roll, high jinks and subversion, with a great cast and a wonderful minimalist set by Maddy Amos. This matinée performance saw a packed hall with standing-room only for late arrivals and went down a storm.
I hear that another performance is planned for tomorrow evening, but as there’s nothing to be found regarding this production on the Birnam Institute website, I’m hoping that producer Angela Ness will fill us in with further details.
Please catch tomorrow evening’s performance if you can. I guarantee it will put a smile on your face.

This website has been under attack by spammers and I have deleted over 400 new users over the past couple of days. I also had to delete hundreds of articles that were nothing more than advertising spam.
Consequently a number of changes have been made to the site, including CAPTCHA human verification when registering as a contributor. This sorted out the spam-bots, but there were plenty of human beings registering by hand in order to spam the site. I’ve now taken steps to ban known spammers using a variety of WordPress plug-ins which seem to be doing their jobs.
If you registered as a contributor recently and find that you cannot access your account, please re-register. If this fails, send me an email (address at the foot of the page) and I will arrange to have you taken off the blacklist.
Comments are now open to everyone and you only need to register if you wish to become a contributor to BAD info.
